I use these in an art class I teach and love them! They go a long way for sure. The colors are great...very saturated! I don't water them down, but you could. The students love them and a lot of the parents have asked what watercolors I use. I had never worked with liquid watercolors in the classroom before so I wasn't sure how to distribute them- what I ended up doing was getting the little plastic condiment cups with lids and would have a paper plate with all the colors on it. I would have 2 students share a plate and only put a few squirts of the paint in there and hardly ever had to refill them. They are fun to work with!
My only complaint was when I was squirting the liquid into the cups, there seemed to be a bad seal on most of the colors and the liquid would leak from the threads of the lid. It seemed like I was wasting a fair bit of the liquid just from that.
There was a tiny bit of leakage from on the colors when being shipped, but I luckily didn't have the big mess that others describe.

Paint spills galore, but beautiful colors
These are beautiful colors! My favorite is the magenta, a rich and vibrant cool-toned pink. The brown is also great to have so you don’t have to mix your own. The colors seem to be slightly more concentrated than the Color Splash, which is the only other liquid watercolor I can find that isn’t ruined with a thickening agent (which makes them impossible to bloom and spread as watercolors should.) (NOTE: Liquid watercolors can be further concentrated by leaving the tops off with a dust cover in a very safe, pet and children-free area, to further evaporate and become richer colors—Don’t leave them in the sun as they might fade.)After trying these out I don’t think these are necessarily worth the higher price tag, but they are beautiful and a pleasure to use nonetheless. These are usually more than double the price of my beloved Color Splash. All colors in this set are identical to the Color Splash 10 set except magenta, brown and black. I will just buy those 3 separately in the future and keep using CS (unless they ruin the formula and add thickener!)The huge negative is all but 2 of these leaked, the green being the worst offender. I lost about an ounce of several colors and it was a huge mess taking them out and rinsing them off. The seals were still on, for all the good they did, and a lot of the lids were loose. The green even somehow got in the lids of some of the other colors! (Maybe that’s the “Magic” in Color Magic.) The labels are now all stained and hard to read. I’ve ordered color splash 4 times now and haven’t received a single spilled color, so Sargent art should take notes about their packaging and put a better seal on these.

After trying these out I don’t think these are necessarily worth the higher price tag, but they are beautiful and a pleasure to use nonetheless. These are usually more than double the price of my beloved Color Splash. All colors in this set are identical to the Color Splash 10 set except magenta, brown and black. I will just buy those 3 separately in the future and keep using CS (unless they ruin the formula and add thickener!)

Colors are gorgeous. To bad MULTIPLE bottles LRAKED due to loosened caps, no seals inside the caps. Cannot read a single label, they’re all completely stained, plastic lining had liquid inside it but still didn’t stop leaking inside the box. So disappointed & embarrassed this was a gift!!

I read all the negative reviews about the bad shipping and wanted to post a current review. They seemed to have gotten their packing sorted out, mine arrived with no spills or broken bottles.
The colors are very vibrant and look great on wood. My project was to make kids wood blocks rainbow.
