what i like is the fabric

contrary to other reviews, as a gentleman of larger carriage, i can assure you there is plenty of room in the seat. they are somewhat low-rise, but not drastically so. what i like is the fabric; a great blend. the weave gives them a similar appearance to wool trousers. another issue i have with pants for larger gentleman is where the cuff breaks on the shoe; my Gold Series trousers have a leg hole opening that causes the trouser cuff to break nearly to the cap toe of my shoe; these pants break nicely on the throat of the shoe. i've never understood why larger size pants sizes are made with larger leg holes; i feel like i'm wearing bell bottoms half the time. it is much less of an issue with these pants. i wear these with Modena Men's Long Sleeve Dress Shirt - All Sizes (Including Big & Tall) (22 34/35, White), Bostonian Men's Wenham Dress Lace Up,Black Leather, a Levi's Men's 1 1/2 in.Bridle Belt (Regular and Big & Tall Sizes),Black,58, and a S1 Shlax&Wing Extra Long Size Checked Gray Mens Neckties Ties 100% Silk 63". it's a smart look for work.

Well-made pants. Colorfast. Fits my husband who wears a larger size. The only problem is the back pocket. He keeps his wallet in it and the wallet tends to wear a hole below the pocket itself within less than a year. We're reinforcing that area on the new pair with an iron-on patch inside the pants. Outside of that the hems and other parts of these pants wear normally.

I had to re-sew some seems in my first pair that can't be seen with a belt on. But this new pair hasn't had that problem. They are soft and thinner than Dickeys. The waist in the pants are okay, the look wonderful, and they are exactly what I need for work. Problem with them is that the pant legs are a bit too tight for being Big Mens Pants. Other than that the length seems to be okay as long as I have shoes or boots on but when I'm getting ready they are just a bit too long. Only thing I was expecting was an elastic waistband, but they don't have one. Not a big deal though as I said they are comfortable enough.
