The Control Board is an Upper or Top Wall Oven Relay Board and compatible with Frigidaire ranges. Please be aware that it is recommended to use saftey equipment and to disconnect the appliance from all utilities prior to any service or repair. We have an Electrolux double oven and the top oven’s bottom element stopped working. Everything else works fine. We swapped bottom elements to test if that was the issue. It still would not heat up. After googling the problem, we found a page that described our issue and recommended replacing the board. So we ordered it and replaced the existing board. That fixed the problem. It is extremely easy to replace with a Phillips screwdriver and needle nose players. No soldering or electrical engineering degree required.

It worked and was easier to install than I thought. I first confirmed that the burner was good using an resistance meter. Then I put a small bench just shorter than the bottom of the oven in front of the wall oven and slid the oven out far enough to lean it on the bench, exposing the top of the oven. I was careful to check the heat switch first and it was good so moved on to install this board. I marked every wire using the labels on the new board. The real test is how it performs over the next year or so. I had the board (not from this source) replaced by repairmen earlier this year and it only lasted 6 months. Ouch! $500 down the drain. Hopefully this one will go much longer, hoping on 5 years or more.

[August 2018 Update] The board is less than a year old and failed. So disappointed.

[Feb. 2023] The third board (second from this source) failed. It is frustrating to get less than 5 years from these.

This saved me from having to call an expensive repair person or buy a new oven. Be careful when removing your oven if you are changing this board yourself. If your upper oven element is out, this will probably fix the problem. Test the electrical continuity of your element before getting this. If the element is good, it will be a complete circuit... in that case you need this board. If the element does not complete a circuit, then replace the element (about $50)
