This is the ONLY pair of headphones/earbuds to last me any substantial amount of time, since every other pair I've bought dies within months/a year from the purchase date. The sound quality is amazing, nice and rich with more of an emphasis on the bass but not in an overpowering way. I have ended up keeping theses headphones in reserve as I try to find a nice pair of earbuds to use, but I just keep coming back to these! While, yes, they are big and clunky to carry around, they do work.

You need to dowload razer surround and activate then you can use surround sound . Lets come to the audio . This headset have a powerfull bass and i tried beats studio but this one is better then beats . i tried this headset in cs:go and i very liked this and i have a glasses but still too much comfort i didnt feel any discomfort this is my review you can buy this headset easily goodbye guys see you in next reviews

Okay but expect to replace in 6-8 months

This works great for about 6-8 months. There's nothing really great about the product it just works fine, decent quality, I just find it starts to quit on me after 6-8 months. I've tried several different Razer products and they all seem to be designed this way. Don't expect a Razer headphone to last even a year.

When I got this headset about 2 months ago it was great, unfortunately the microphone didn't work so instead I just used an external one. (Problem #1) It worked great until recently when Windows 10 got an update, my laptop wouldn't even recognize that the headset was plugged in. I thought it was a driver problem. After about three days of not using it, I plugged it into my iPhone/iPad and whenever I would listen to music or watch a video it would either stop playing/ fast forward/ or just turn off completely the music or video (You basically have to put it in a certain direction). After that I just used my old headset and was quiet disappointed knowing that Razer, a fantastic company with products you would assume you could trust, failed. I believe the problem happened because of Windows 10 not fully supported 3.5mm jacks (correct me if I'm wrong).

Instead, if I could redo this situation, I would buy the USB version of this headset, especially if you are using these headsets for PC only.

The great part about this headset is that you can use them for Xbox One and Apple products (iPhone). The microphone for both of these aren't that good but it does the job (On everything else except my Laptop). The headset also has pretty good sound for games like Counter-Strike: GO. The sound quality for music isn't that great but it does the job.

I think after using this I would just get Astro, Steel Series, or the USB Razer headset. Honestly as long as it isn't hassle free.

Lifetime: 2 months

InGame Quality: Really Good

Microphone Quality: Poor (far behind poor in my case)

Performance: Poor (Sometimes I would have to restart my laptop to get these headphones working)

Update 6/10/16: After bagging on these headsets for a while I finally got them to work. A friend recommend me to download a certain driver for the headsets and my laptop and they work perfectly fine now. After using them for about 2 weeks I've drawn some conclusions. First, the headsets, after about an hour or two, hurt my ears and I have to take them off for a little bit to ajust my hair/ears. This could be because I don't use them enough and it just needs to expand, but they get very uncomfortable after a couple hours anyhow. Second, from going from a stereo headset to a 7.1 headset the quality for sounds in games isn't there. However, music sounds even better than before on these headsets. Third, these headsets are kind of heavy and another reason why they are a little uncomfortable. Fourth, for me personally I like how far the wires go but it could interfere with things like a rolling chair and walking around. And lastly, I enjoy how compatible it is with other products but it was kind of a hassle to get these things working in the first place with my laptop.

Comes with an separate adapter for mic and audio jacks, which is really helpful for when I want to just use the headphones alone. Mic is retractable, so you can just push it back into the headset when not in use. If you are looking for a flexible headset this is the one for you. Great all around headset/headphones.

I thought that the speakers and the cushion would completely cover the ears but they don't. However it feels great but not for long periods of time. The quality of the sound is great for it's price. The mic is good however the construction feels a little flimsy and at times takes a little bit more pressure to put it all the way back into the headset. If you're looking to buy quality headsets this is a great one for it's price however be warned that it doesn't fully cover your ears and can cause discomfort after long periods of time.

This is a terrible headset, and a prime example of style over function. Where do I begin?

The speakers sound as if they are being driven through a thick, foam mattress. The bass is so completely muddy and overpowering that they are virtually unusable without applying EQ. The earpads are dense and uncomfortable. I cannot wear the headset for over 45 minutes or so before having to rest my sore ears. The mic quality is poor, and picks up sounds from the left earphone. If I make a voice call, the person on the other end can hear themselves feeding back into the mic.

They do feel somewhat solidly made, which is a shame because they're such garbage in every other aspect. As I have said, a clear example of style over function. They came in fancy packaging with all sorts of marketing BS. After a few months of owning these, I broke down and paid a bit more for a pair of Sennheisers which have been much, much better. The Sennheisers came in a plain cardboard box with virtually no branding...
