    These worked fine for the wife's 2006 Ford Freestar. No complaints and since the previous parts were OEM with 150k+ miles on them, these struts significantly helped out ride quality.

    I had a set of these put on my 2005 Mercury Monterey (Ford Freestar). No manufacturer that I know of makes "quick struts" for these vans, so it's very difficult to replace them yourself. Not only that, but the bearing/mount plates also needed to be replaced, and they aren't included... After getting new bearing/mount plates and putting the springs on, and then installing them, the van now rides worse than it did with the old Motorcraft struts. Horrible. If it wasn't such a pain I'd have returned these for sure.
