For the person who has more to cook than what they can fit on their stove, or the grill master who wants an egg on their burger, the Camp Chef 600 Flat Top Grill is the versatile and ideal solution for any outdoor cooking event. The 604 square inch, pre-seasoned, cold-rolled steel cooking surface features a splash guard to keep food on the griddle, and is evenly heated by four 12,000 BTU stainless steel burners. The burners sit in a powder coated steel burner box and are independently controlled by four knobs on the front of the grill. As you cook, drippings will flow into the grease tray at the edge of the griddle top, and then funnel into the grease catch bucket. Two large, powder coated steel folding side shelves provide extra prep space, and two powder coated steel shelves under the grill provide storage space for tools or utensils. Micro-adjust griddle levelers and adjustable leg levelers ensure that you always have an even surface to cook on. Serve up grilled burgers, steaks, chicken and more using a full set of grill grates below the griddle plate. A hose, regulator, and holding bracket are included for a 20-pound propane tank (tank not included).

 | FTG600 and lidWell it finally made it, it's a nice griddle. I bought this sight unseen videos only and recommendation of The Flat Top King on YouTube. I like it but FedEx shipping is maddening. Customer service is nice but shipping is slow they work 4-days a week. Now the top is nice couple of paint rubs on the hood and a small ding but hey it's used outside. The Griddle it self seems warped but once heat gets applied it may change but I got the adjustment out all the way on back corner to take out the wobble. I still like it, I bought it because of the support on the bottom. I am sure it will cook well depending on me. I am pleased but not pleased with shipping. Like it so much I bought this 600 for the house and the grill grates are just a bonus. Heats evenly. | Really nice griddleMoving up from a 2-buner P60X with a 14" single griddle that I purchased 5 years ago and have really loved. I really love my 600 unit. | My New FTG 600 Griddle is GreatJust did my third cook on my new FTG 600. Fed Ex delivered it two weeks ago. The factory packing was good and the unit did not have a scratch on it even though the box was ripped. It took about 2 hours to put together by myself taking my time. It would have helped at times if I had someone to hold the other end of things. The directions were straight forward. All the parts fit together well. It is well built and solid like a tank. It comes pre-seasoned but I seasoned the grill a few more times before I cooked on it. My first cook was off but I've gotten better with my next two. I have an infra red thermometer gun and the cooking surface is fairly uniform (nothing more than +/- 10 degrees difference). With no wind it runs hot (+400 degrees) even on low. I cooked yesterday in about 10-15 mile wind and it made a difference needing to go to medium to get the same temperature. The wind guards also worked well with some of the + 25 gusts. I bought the hood version and the tarp cover. Both are well made look great and fit the unit well. The tarp cover held tight and kept the unit dry in a Nor'easter we just had with heavy rain and 40+ mile gusts. Very happy with my new flat top grill so far and no complaints. | Was This Helpful? |
| Awesome GrillBought this and received it a few weeks ago. Simple but well built. Heats quickly and is a ton of fun to cook on. I've done breakfast with pancakes eggs and bacon all at once, fried rice, cheesesteaks, you name it. | Roasted CoffeeI have had my flat top 600 for about a month and have made a variety of great meals. I am really glad I chose this grill. Today, I roasted two pounds of green coffee beans on the flat top. This flat top is perfect for roasting coffee. I have roasted coffee in cast iron skillets, but this flat top makes it so much easier and you can do a larger batch. If you want to give this a try, find a few articles on roasting coffee to get an understanding of the process. Then fire up the grill and give it a try.
