Permanently repair anything that can be 'duct taped.' Meaning if you could wrap it with tape and make a temporary fix, use this once and 'fix it for good' as my grandpa would say. It's basically a fabric 'wrap' that's impregnated with water-activated fiberglass resin. It's packaged with full instructions and even a pair of gloves because it is messy, trust me, you don't want to get it on your skin and be sure to wear your old 'painting clothes' too as grandma used to say just in case. It's black, it's sticky and it's not coming out of your clothes.

Open the package, soak the wrap in room temperature water (approximately 70-degrees) for 12-15 seconds to activate then WRAP tightly and be sure to overlap until you have several layers (like you would duct tape). Allow to cure. Sets up hard as a rock in under 30 minutes.

I used two "large" packs to fix a plastic hose reel, the entire reel spindle (the part the hose wraps around) for whatever reason cracked and split in half over the winter. Not exaggerating, I had 2 separate pieces. It's about 6 inches in diameter so I needed 2 packs to get the 4-5 layers needed for strength. I wasn't sure if it just looked like a good repair or if it really was one that would last, I can now say the 150 ft of 3/4" landscape hose (it's heavy if you don't know) is being fully supported by a reel that once lost all structural integrity. This repair is going on 2 months now and holding as strong as ever. I've also used it for fixing leaks in pool pressure-side pipes that I was told were 'unfixable' that would have to be cut out and replaced. Not a drip in 5 years, I'd say with this the unfixable becomes fixable.

Great stuff, used to be in big box stores. I just wish it were a little easier to locate, thankful that Amazon came through for me once again.

I bought a package for a specific purpose. I have a discontinued Black and Decker rechargeable string trimmer and four rechargeable batteries for it. Replacing it with a similar product with four additional batteries would be pricey. The trimmer was designed with built in obsolescence. The shaft between the handle and the trimming mechanism is made of two plastic poles attached in the middle. Of course after a year of use the two parts broke apart, making it unusable.but mechanically still working. Duct tape wasn't sturdy enough and I definitely tried.

I bought the 4 inch wrap since it would need to hold together two pole pieces with heavy working parts at each end. I applied it as the instructions showed, did no preparation of the surface (none was mentioned in the instructions), moistened the wrap and wrapped it the center. The instructions said 15 minutes to set, but I let it set overnight.

I've since used it for a total of four battery charges and the center shaft with the mend in the middle is strong and sturdy. I'm really happy with the wrap and would highly recommend it for similar use.

Ended up not actually using this product because...
When you actually get the product and read the directions it then tells you you have to use the whole roll at once you cannot save part of it for later which did not fit into my usage plans. I had ordered two rolls of the product I kept one because I do like the idea how it works but it sounds like it only works for stuff that is round and breaks pipes handles etc. I'm going to keep it for future use the other rule I sent back because it did not work with what I was going to use it for.

Amazing product and great company to deal with. I purchased this for a water leak in my well pump sand filter. It is about 4 inches across and is under pressure. The hole was about an 1/8" wide. I had attempted repairs with other products on the market and several different types of epoxy with no success. I remembered seeing this on Shark tank. I read other reviews that said it did not work for water repairs so was a bit skeptical. Sure enough after applying there was still some minor leaking. Now for the really impressive part....I called the company and an actual person quickly answered the phone. She offer her name and asked what could she help me with. I was not transferred or put on hold, instead she very nicely explained the product does work for leaks and suggested I had not wrapped it enough times around the pipe and then said LET ME SEND YOU OUT ANOTHER BOX. I had not asked for anything, she volunteered it. Customer service is a very difficult thing to come by these days and company's that understand it need to be applauded. The box arrived quickly and just as she promised with a few more layers the leak was 100% sealed.

This product is not intended to actually fix anything. I should have known better. It can't seal a leak....it has no sealing properties. As far as repairing an old hammer handle, just go buy a new hammer because the hammer is probably only $5 more than this junk. It might fix a broom handle if you're lucky. One video showed it repairing bicycle handle bars. I wouldn't ride that bike unless my insurance was paid and destination was to the ER. Didn't try using it as cast though....it may work for that!?
Bottom line, it only adheres to itself and dries through chemical reaction so fast it leaves very little time to work with. I complained to the manufacturer after use and I couldnt get my money back but were happy to send me the same crap product to use again....
Thanks! It will stay on my pegboard as a reminder to not buy this s*** again.

Used this to fix an old metal gutter that was rusty and leaking. It has worked really well.
My advice is to be super-prepared before getting it wet. Measure twice and think through how you are going to apply it before use, what tools you’ll need and someone to hand things to you, if it involves being up a ladder.
