SVR 06, THE King of the ring

Thats right i said it. SVR 06 did everything your fave childhood Smack Down games did, but imo did it slightly better. Make your own CAW filled version of RAW and Smack Down in GM mode, & watch the mayhem happen over the modes seasons, book the matches yourself, see who the in-game fans grow to like amongst your core of created stars most. The game also lets you make custom belts, in fact i think 06' started that whole gimmick... And boy is it a near perfect gimmick. You can make tag belts, etc, name them, change colors. The game even keeps track of who fought over the belt for each match, rating the quality of the fight afterward and giving you in game money to spend on other things such as unlocking legends. Only thing that SVR 06 doesn't keep track of is current custom belt champions, would have been neat. But you can even engrave a name in your custom belt, these little things go a long way for a fan of the features.

Overall, this is the last of the old style SVR games, no ufc-ish analog control grapple crap. Slow motion finishers,
first outdoor arena unlockable (mania 9) & has lots of speed to boot. Fast paced gameplay is what made this series, while the change to slower prettier looking gameplay IMO is what killed it.
If you still own a ps2 in 2013, idk why you don't own this already.

I love this game because of the storyline this is when it used to be great now all the new wrestling games don't really have a storyline anymore the do the road to wrestlemania which is fun but it really only like 5 matches and it only for certain wrestlers I like being able to pick whichever wrestler I want and to go through a full storyline not just a couple of matches
