I have ordered these papadums before from the same company, usually they are more more protected. But this time they arrived completely smashed up. They were sent by US mail and there was no protection. It is really frustrating, I can’t really cook them in pieces. Please send them fully protected next time, they are delicate and break easily.

The package arrived nicely (quickly and nothing broken), I was excited as I'd been craving Pappadums and our local store out of stock. However upon opening, I noticed the Pappadums were expired dated 11/23 and it was 12/01. They had a soapy/fishy odor. I did try a piece in spite of the unpleasant smell, and expired date. Immediately threw the package out as it was smelling up the house. These are not eligible for return. Expensive too, priced about $1.25 per Pappadum.

I use my deep fat frier to cook these as it feels safer than a wok full of very hot cooking oil. The pappadums have to be cut in half first in order to fit, but no problem. They also store well for 1 to 2 days in an airtight container.
