Solidly made, looks good, seems like it's going to hold up over time. The handle is bare wood. "not stained" so I stained and lacquered the handle but that is just my preference. Works perfectly with the wok I purchased.

This is a very high quality Wok Spatula. Its comfortable to use, very well constructed and should last for years. I use it with my cast iron wok and the two together are perfect. It makes stir frying a pleasure and the long handle keeps your hand further away from the heat while cooking.

Perfect size for Woks in the 14" and smaller range. Another set advertised as 14" in length turned out to be nearly 17" and awkward to use, make better Canoe paddles. The downer is that this is a Chuan or Chaun, forget which, but there's no matching Hoak. Tablecraft, where's the Hoak?

Very nice. Well made and very functional. Not for "non-stick surfaces"!! If you have a wok or pan with a Non-stick coated surface, use a plastic or bamboo spatula, not this!! This works great on mine (I have a carbon steel wok).

This item is strong and well made. Good size, good geometry, enjoyable to use. Some other brands have weak necks that bend, making them frustrating to use. Two drawbacks: a blunt front edge and not dishwasher safe. The front edge needs significant shaping to reduce the thickness. I found beveling the bottom of the leading edge works the best. Also, the bamboo handle is made of glued together pieces. Repeated dish washing will cause the handle to split. Hand wash for best results. I recommend this item, if the front edge is thinned.
