I truly like this coffeemaker except that the time numbers do not light up making setting the time (especially AM and PM) a bit difficult. Also though it will stop for you to grab a cup while it's perking there is a slow steady drip that burns onto the bottom of the glass holder. On the plus side it starts to brew exactly when it's been set for. It's very easy to keep clean and I highly recommend anyone to purchase this coffeemaker.

Still cannot find a reuseable filter for even HALF of what the unit cost. Could not find disposable filters yet and Mr Coffee did not even provide ONE or TWO! I've had it months and cannot use it.

I was looking for a small coffee maker, but wasn't sure of the cup size I wanted. After I placed a bid on this one, I then remembered that the cup size is measured at 8 ounces, and so I was a little disappointed at the smallness of the maker, but it will have to do now. It brews a quick pot, but it should given the size. It has a removable grounds basket, which is nice. The one bad? thing I don't like is that when you pull the carafe out, it seems to take a good pull to get it out from under the brew spout, under the basket. It's spring loaded, so it won't let brew/coffee from spilling out. It has the delay brew or start now feature, as with the usual programable timer. I tried to make my coffee a tad bit stronger by putting more grounds in, but doing that causes the water not to drain properly, so it filled up the paper filter and let the grounds flow to the carafe. I am in the process of timimg the brew cycle to give you an idea of how quick you can get you first 8 ounces. From start to stop it takes about 5 minutes to brew a pot. The small szie of the maker makes it decent to put on the counter top or put away for space, for your bigger one for party's..Overall I'm giving it a good quality as with Mr. Coffee products.Read full review
I like everything about this coffee maker except that the clock is very difficult to read. It is not back lit. Otherwise I like the features of this item. The buttons near the top are very easy to use. My last coffee maker had the buttons near the bottom and if something got pushed against it the unit would sometimes turn on by accident. The 5 cup unit is good for one or two people who like a large mug of coffee. This one seems well made and the water comes out hot enough(my last one did not heat the water enough).
