I bought the Samsung Replenish as a backup phone since I was having problems with my Samsung Transform Ultra (which ultimately was a major downgrade price- and powerwise). However, I like that it has a full qwerty keyboard. Although the letter/number/symbol buttons are pretty tiny, you do get used to it after sending a few texts or emails. There is also an onscreen keyboard when you tilt the phone to landscape mode if the keys are too small. PROS: It's easy to use, navigate, and personalize. The speakers have a good volume for listening to streaming music or when talking on speakerphone. CONS: Two things: Firstly, there are quite a few apps from the Android Market that are not compatible with the Samsung Replenish. So there was a bit of disappointment there because some of them were very popular apps. Secondly, the phone continually runs out of internal memory. So there is a constant need to clear the cache in manage applications, clear text messages and call logs regularly, and of course any browser's cache, history, et cetera as well. Overall, it is a good phone. It is comfortable in your hand. There are many great case varieties to choose from which is plus for some people (myself included). It never freezes or crashes as long regular maintenance is performed to keep the phone's internal memory above 25 MB to be on the safe side and move as much to an external SD card as is possible. If you want a large app to be installed onto the Replenish, I would recommend contacting the developer to see if they would be willing to accommodate this device's memory issues and update the app to be able to be moved to SD.Read full review
Great Sound. Good Solid Feel. Nice "real" Keypad, can't stand using touchscreen for emails. Gmail App works with labels which is what i needed. Nice Android Features. Wi-Fi kicks in when available which is great. Camera just plain sucks, no focus, flash, anything. Battery Life Could be Better Does what i need it to do, for a great price.
This is my second smartphone by far this is the best one I have had. The battery life is low because it is a smartphone. My Samsung replenish does a lot of things that other phones don't do. It is the perfect size not heavy. I recommend buying an extended battery. You can also get a solar back to charge phone. The phone can be used without the keypad by touching the screen. It is a tight phone.
I like the cellphone very much,is good for people who never had a smartphone before. Why? Maybe you are expecting more from this smart phone to one that you had before and I don't think is going to meet your expectations. If you are a person that like to take pictures, the cellphone might be not for you because the resolution is very poor that include the video recording of course. But don't let that change your opinion.I really like how smooth you can slide things is not laggy. My sister have an Htc and the volume is very poor so I was expecting the same problem with this celllphone but I was very surprised about the volume is really loud. Now I have it like an alarm clock .If you are consedering the idea to buy the cellphone don't forget to buy a micro sd memory!
