I actually had played the XBox 360 version of this a few years ago at a friend's house. I decided to buy it after watching the Rocky movies and thinking I would like a more realistic boxing experience than the Rocky games seemed to offer. It's a good game all around. The Career mode lasts a very long time. The Total Punch Control feature using the Right Analog Stick might seem confusing at first but after a bit, it makes total sense. The main thing I disliked is that, due to his outside the ring troubles (and one instance in the ring), Mike Tyson is not present in this game. I would have liked to see how he would have stacked up against some of those that are present, like Ali and Frazier. But I suppose that's a small gripe when the rest of the game was done well.
My husband lost his other copy when we moved.He loves this game. He is always palying it when it is a rainy day or just a lazy sunday. the features and effects are really good. There's nothing that I really liked about this game besides the fact that it was the latest version. This version seemed like it was produced on a hurried up basis because the graphics are not that much better than the second version. As a boxing fan, it's still a pretty enjoyable game, but only as a boxing fan. The training for fights has three different methods but out of all of them there is only one that is really enjoyable. All in all FN3 is a good game, but it's barely that.
