There are quite a few frauds out there, however if you buy from the right seller there are a ton of true Audioquest cables out there from all the retail store shut downs, HH Gregg, etc. Bought one to try, price was about 15% less than retail, worked fine, exactly matched store bought, so I bought a bunch more. Upgraded from Audioquest Forest and Cinnamon in my other rooms, made a difference, biggest being sound quality, a little on video much more from Forest to Chocolate not that much from Cinnamon to Chocolate. I have True Audioquest Vodkas for my entire Home Theater setup (expensive)....and those are a large step up from true Chocolates in sound and video (also have all high end power filtration and upgraded high end power cords in that room only)......provided you have very high end gear. i.e. 10K setups or more. If your whole setup TV included is under 5K maybe even 10K including speakers, get the Cinnamons, because you won't notice the difference. My Theater room, is near of 30K so it made a noticeable difference to Vodkas.Read full review

Besides being well constructed and effective 4k Ultra HD HDMI cable, it provides superior contrast to the common inexpensive options out there. Many reviewers will claim no differences in HDMI cables. That's simply not true. Put a movie on pause and swap an standard cable with a Audioquest cable specially one with silver and you will immediately see the contrast improve in blacks, whites and colors
