I’ve been carrying Buck 505s for years and noticed the 055 online. I loved the curved bolsters and liked the idea of a longer blade. I got the newer model with the Ebony handles for Xmas and loved it! I decided to get a second one in American Walnut. It’s a great everyday carry. The quality is excellent and Buck knives come with a lifetime warranty. It fits in my jeans “watch” pocket but it is bigger than the 505 and you notice it. I’m used to it and think i’ll pick up a couple more but please don’t tell my wife!!!

The quality of this knife model isn't as good as I thought it should be, but it's all right. The wood at the bolster joint is crudely ground. I thought it should have been more carefully done. But the blade is as good as I expected.
