I still can't get the AM station I purchased the radio for, but my car radio can pick it up? I don't get it. Would be nice if the back light had a option of staying on so I could use it as my bedside clock radio. Music sounds great it sounds like a larger radio. Good volume and tone control, bass and treble works great.

I bought this mainly because every other radio I've had has had poor am reception. after reading reviews about how good am comes in, I was convinced to purchase. first I hooked it up in my bedroom and was not impressed with the am signal as it was not clear. so I figured the radio was meant for outside use but the am was still fuzzy outside. so I am back to listening to fm with way too many commercials. the reasons for wanting to listen to just am are very few commercials and '50's to '70's pop & rock.

This is probably the best portable radio I have ever owned, easy to use, great sound, small size, lots of features. Great design and quality fit and finish as well....

This radio is up to the task for a unit this size AM reception is good Fm reception is excellent. It has a simple but stylish look . The controls are easy to use and simple to adjust .I like the way the batteries are always charged when on standby if you go to the trouble of using rechargeable batteries .The only minus is the conversion of the power lead from 110 volt to 240 volt .Am I happy it is a great radio

It is like the PR-D5 except for a few things. You can adjust bass and treble. It charges rechargeable batteries and a few other things. My only complaint would be it does not have PLL Synthesized Tuning System it has a DSP tuner so it is not exactly as good as the PR-D5 in am reception. However it does have a fine tuner and may be better at FM. I tried the PR-D5 and PR-D15 in the same place and channel and there was a small difference in AM reception. Even so it was better at AM than other radios I have owned. Other than that it is the same or better than the PR-D5. I would also say for it's price range I doubt you can find better.
