I like the convenience of connecting one plug to the charger, which I don't have to hook up three individual chargers and unhook them when I want to go fishing, and charging three batteries simultaneously, and merely unplugging one cord when I go fishing without having to remove chargers or rotate one charger on three batteries. I considered a higher amperage charger but decided that 5 amps would not evaporate the water out of water as rapidly as a higher rate would and it charges my batteries adequately overnight so that I could go fishing the next day if I so desired.
