Seems like it will have good battery life and replacement batteries are widely available. Well made, solid well machined metal construction. I've had a few laser sights that never stayed adjusted and sighted in but this one doesn't seem to fall out of adjustment so far. Doesn't work in bright sunlight but that is to be expected and it works well in anything less then bright sunlight. I'm no expert but because of what I think is parallax I had to adjust it for about 25 yards. Less then that the dot will be a little lower, and more then that the dot will be a little higher then your shot. But I think that is to be expected, just adjust it for about the target range you expect to use it for.
