Mounted on a 7mm mauser and zeroed easily. I like the lighted reticle which works great on the lower settings for just speeding up target acquisition. Clear optics but higher magnification settings does really shrink your field of view. If it holds up over time it could be the best $50 I've spent.

The scope is well-made, rugged construction, And has a clear lens. The problem is that the internal illumination is overpowering and causes you to have a red hue around the edges of the inside tube, very distracting in low light situations and kills your night vision. Also, the illumination of the reticle is not confluent throughout the entire reticle but rather is more powerful in the center of the reticle and fades towards the end/edges of the reticle only to have that ridiculous red ring effect around the inside of the tube. Finally, a 1 inch tube I can understand, especially for a scout scope but I think that a 32 mm objective was a little bit too small. They should have had a 40 mm objective. I understand that it’s a long eye relief scout scope, but I had to mount this thing so far forward it was over the heat sink of the barrel. Not something conducive to optimal function, holding zero, or long scope life. Also, although you get a good eye box when you finally do get everything focused, it’s almost like you have to aim for the scope, and then aim for the target. And as a parting comment, while the magnification works well, there is no doctor, not you, or anything to show you what your actual magnification has selected. I mean there is a magnification ring, with numbers on it, but there is no reference to show you at what level of magnification you really are. This is a classic Nc Star deal. Half of it looks like pure genius while the other half is pure BS. Look harder… You can do a lot better. A far better choice would be a two – 8 x 32 Leupold LER 2-8x32. Read full review

This was my first experience using a scout scope and I'm hooked. Its clear, well built, and rugged, shoots straight, adjusts easily, and is generally an awesome optic. I was impressed with how fast it was to transition between targets with this optic during reflexive fire practice. Bottom Line: a great optic for low to medium range with a price point that can't be beat.

This scope was described perfectly. It works, is easy to use and seams to be built well. Good deal for the price.
