7345V DOES replace 7341V. This remote amazes me. It's simple, but has so, so many functions. I love that it is 2 Way and , the remote itself, makes different chirping sounds for, either, the car alarm warning, or the car alarm fully sounding. There is no need to keep an ear out for YOUR specific car alarm sounding. Your remote chirps as well. The remote seems to have decent range of up to, roughly 500ft. The only thing I don't like, it the short lived 1x AAA battery life. I get about 2 months out of the 1x AAA. For good replacements, I recommend using Energizer Lithium 1.5 volt (disposable) batteries.

I ordered this and kept my old one as a back-up. Programming it is not difficult, but it took me several tries and I watched a you tube video five times to get it right. If I can do it, you can too and it is a big savings over paying someone else to do it. Go for it and see it through.:)
