For the money you honestly can't go wrong. Use it on my D3100 and works out great. The frame as you can tell right away is a little cheaper, but for the money it's still the best way to go. Unless you plan on throwing this thing around I see it lasting for the rest of my camera days. Takes no time to get use to all the ways of adjusting your camera and has some good easy access. Extends very high incase you plan on doing some close tall shots. Fits any camera with the screw access point in the bottom of the camera.
I am very happy with this tripod. It is very light weight but in the same sense sturdy. The only reason I do not give a 5 star, is because it is a 4.5 star. The movement of the head is not quite professional as indicated, and the turn handles seem a bit flimsy. However, this fills the purpose of being light weight and not to cumbersome to carry. I would much rather have a flimsier turn handle and smaller fluid head than weight and bulk. If you want something easy to carry, yet sturdy, well designed, has smooth action, then this is a great buy and Great tripod for you.
Very light weight so not as sturdy as a more expensive one naturally. For the price it is light and easy to operate. A plus is the Quick release pad that is included. Great value for the money if your looking for an inexpensive, easy to operate tripod for light photo work.
I own several tripods of varying sturdiness, weight, and size. Each has its' own niche. Well if you are looking for an extremely light weight and portable tripod then this is it. I hike, and wanted something I could put into or tie to my backpack without having too much weight or bulk. This tripod fits the bill. Most of the time when hiking, I do not even use the tripod, but I want to have something on hand in case its' needed. This one is perfect for that purpose.
I got this Tripod for my Nikon D3200 DSLR camera. I wanted a Tripod with all that this one had to offer, but at a better price than I was seeing else where. Everything about it from the build quality to the look is very good, with the only things I don't like as follows: -The plastic has a fairly cheep feel and look to it. -Although it all holds together nicely under my heavy camera, there is a small ammount of wobble to it. -The extended head can be wound up to 57" and then locked in place, but the winding handle is left lose all the time and can knock to tripod making a bit of noise. -The head needs to be completly losened to allow it to move freely (eg, in use for Video recording) and going from tighting to losening might be annoying from some. But these are very small faults, and for the price you can't go wrong. I would recomend this tripod for those wanting to take photos. If your after something for videos I'd say to look for a ball joint head tripod, or at least one higher end than this.Read full review
