I have mild sleep apnea that keeps me from being able to sleep on my back. So when I was in the market for a new sleeping bag, the accommodation for side sleepers was a major selling point for me. This bag has not only stood up to its claims of comfort when it comes to sleeping flexibility but has excelled in the area of warmth and protection while out on the trail. I highly re... Read more

Went camping for the first time and I wanted a sleeping bag that looked warm and comfortable. I tend to move a lot in my sleep and really didn't want a mummy bag, Took a chance on the Backcountry Bed and glad I did. It was comftorable and had no issues being a stomache sleeper. The first night was also around 5-10C and I was fine in the bag and a sleeping pad. Other nights was ... Read more

I am very happy with this purchase. It is extremely comfortable, and the design makes sense and suits my sleeping patterns. I tried it indoors, so it felt warm, and it picks up static easily, but still definitely recommend!
I had high hopes for this bag, I relay like the concept of the blanket and the kickout foot box. Plus all the advertising showed that it was designed for stomach and side sleeping. I'm a stomach sleeper have never been comfortable in a mummy bag. So I was disappointed that the leg area is tight like a mummy and if you use the kickout foot section its even tighter than if you ke... Read more

Overall its a nice design. I ordered a long, but I really wish it was a little longer (I am 6'2"). I have large chest and shoulders and it has decent girth because it does not zip. Still a little tight on the legs and tough to get feet out the foot vent.
If I were a little shorter it would be ideal.

I'm a side sleeper and I tend to be very active turning back and forth when I sleep. I got caught in a spring cold snap, with temps around 28F at night, and I had some issues with the bag.
If you sleep on your side in the cold, you would want to "tuck" the blanket portion into the bag, but it's almost impossible to do this when what you are tucking is behind you at your back. ... Read more
