This is something you might not use a lot but sure nice to have when you need it. It's inexpensive, easy to use and you can get great results with a smooth surface. Because you need a smooth surface for it to work and there isn't always one around, I made a small set of tracks for mine to run on too. Really, I use it more than I thought I would. For the cost, it's crazy NOT to have one of these around.

Solid construction and smooth wheels. But has no 1/4 thread to attack a mini ballhead or anything to it. I had to buy one separately. There are numbered markings to correctly align the wheels in a chosen direction but the blue arrow (Pic 1) is attached at an angle so when one set of wheels are straight, it’s at a 15 degree angle. On other set it’s about 45 degrees. It’s pointless. Easy to take apart if needed (it’s so small you may not need to). BOTTOM LINE: f you want to save some cash and align wheels by eye (and maybe set your own marks) but have a strong built product, this is a good value.

great build quality, and a precise little dolly- also strong for its size.

If you're looking for an expensive way to add to your films I suggest this. I also suggest getting a ball head to mount your camera on so you can get more angles.
