I went from -70db signal strength to a strong -45db after Netgear's range extender install. No more "keep your fingers crossed" net connectivity with my laptop. There's always a strong signal. 75ft, 2 stories and 4 walls for a reference on distance. A slight disappointment was the amount of data transfer loss, as expected as it was.

Unfortunately, I had high hopes for this device, and it did not even come close to functioning like Netgear claimed. This was a replacement for an older Netgear extender, so should have provided significantly better results. Sitting in an unobstructed range within 10 feet from the device, it would drop the connect or become weak. The extender speeds across the network were also consistently poor. Not at all what Netgear can be proud of.

Easy to install and I now have full Wi-Fi coverage on my outside patio. Since it is a refurbished item I saved money. It looks brand new to me. Glad I took the chance.

Great item, connected really easy, adds great distance to my router, refurbished by NETGEAR so it works correctly and it give me fast 2.4GHz and 5Ghz for fast data transfer on my mesh network (single name network)

Was using an older WiFi extender that needed to be reset constantly. This design makes it easy to place nearly anywhere which is good for the signal strength. We have a 3500 Square foot home 2 story with the extender on the staircase. So far very fast with no dead spots. 2g and 5g service and I like that it uses a separate WiFi name. I think its faster because it is not repeating. IF it last 2-3 years, money well spent.
