This has all of the torque of your average electric mower and none of the cord. I got this because I tend to put off cutting the grass because the cord is such a hassle (always in danger of running over it, always tangled, etc) and this makes it a joy. We're in a townhome with a 10x10 front yard and a 15x15 back yard. I can cut our lawn, plus two neighbors on a single charge and have plenty of juice leftover. I have yet to run out of charge while cutting. The height adjustment is really easy and (while I wish it was a little bigger) the bagging attachment is great. Assembly was tool-less and simple. Operation is simple: push the button, pull the lever down on the handle bars, wait for the motor, let the button go (just like many electric mowers). This thing is also very light weight, our 4 1/2 year-old has no problem pushing it around the back yard. Stands up to rain without a problem, though I did get a standard cover to protect it (the generic one fits just fine). Battery charges to full from nearly empty in about 2 - 2 1/2 hours, recovers from cutting our small yard in about 45 minutes. I can't find one negative thing to say about this mower especially given the price. Read full review

Its a great mower- but the battery does not last long enough to mow the whole yard. My battery gets really hot and will not hold a charge any more. A new battery is over $120!!!! The batteries are too weak for my lawn and way too expensive to replace. I actually like the mower itself. I love freedom from gasoline, oil, spark plugs and filters but it needs robust cheap batteries.

Really like this lawn mower. It mows my yard without discharging the battery. Does a nice job of cutting. The only issue I have with it is the grass bag. I have never used one before, and would rather not have one at all. this one is a little small so I had to empty it 3 times while cutting my small yard. Other than this, I love it!

I love this little machine? I have small yard .4 and it cuts it so well in fact it’s better than gas No cord to pull, no gas runs, leaks and smells and noise reduction is my favorite? my wife didn’t even know I was cutting the lawn even when I went by the window LOL! Try that in gas mower !!! I’ll never go back to gas driven mowers! Battery runs out in 45, ( my neighbor used it on his 2.5 acres back lawn, he bought one next day) manual says 40 minutes, which is plenty of time to finish the job, battery usage does not slow you down, it’s actually strong to the end. It took 3 hours to charge back up again, it folds and stores Neatly in the garage. I strongly recommend this mower

I have only used it ones, as expected it worked. I wanted something basic with no bag or mulch, so i did remove a plate on the bottom. I have own a corded for 15 yr which still works but i don't use it much. All batteries get hot, especially when charging from ac to dc. I would like to see dc to dc battery charger so i can connect directly to solar charge controller or even a solar charger. Chrager and battery did got hot in 1 hr into charging, so unplugged it to cool it down. The safety key, is just not necessary, as i have to keep taking the battery and key out to reset it.
