Bought this to replace an Eotech I returned for the following reasons; 1. They are taking them back no questions asked. 2. The POA/POI shifted on ALL of those tested (test yours). 3. They knew of the problem and still chose to send them "downrange" where men were dying. 4. Did nothing about it until they were going to be forced to. Getting back to the point. Research suggested a few potential problems with the MRO; difficulty installing the battery, indistinct incremental sight adjustments, dot blinking on/off while shooting. The battery installation was no problem and i'm not a watchmaker. It is necessary to install it carefully and may even require a small tool to help hold back the contact points, but was no harder than most. True, adjusting the sight increments is a little soft and is an issue that will likely be dealt with in future generations. I have had no problems with the dot blinking after around five hundred rounds. FOV is the best of any optic I am familiar with. The dot seems as if its not enclosed during BAC both eyes open shooting, which is IMO the best quality of this optic. Making the sight adjustment increments more distinct and lowering the price some would persuade me to rank it excellent. Read full review

I got this site on eBay at a very good price. It’s an excellent little red dot. It’s very well-made. And the two MOA Dot is very bright and easy to see.

I wrote this review on Amazon and now I'm putting it on eBay because there were no reviews when I purchased and people need to be informed. I own a Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56mm and I love it. I have been wanting to buy another Trijicon optic ever since I made that purchase. I recently bought a 300 blackout upper for hog hunting. I have been swapping my Eotech XPS2-0 back and forth from my 5.56 upper. When I realized Trijicon was making a small red dot sight I knew it was what I wanted. I started doing my research. I watched every YouTube video on this product and read every review I could find before I purchased. Everything I saw and read lead me to believe that this product was going to be legit. Well after having it for 5 minutes I have already found some serious flaws. First I put in the battery and it would not turn on. I removed the battery and realized one of the 12 battery contacts got bent. When I bent it back up into position it snapped completely off. Now I've went from 12 to 11 battery contacts. I put the battery back in and it worked fine. Had I been paying a little more attention when replacing the battery I probably would have noticed the contact bending. Maybe I could have stopped and bent it back before it got bent too far. But to be honest if you had to replace this battery in the field under any type of adverse conditions I could see snapping off a contact for sure. But given the suggested battery life you shouldn't have to replace it too often. Having changed it once I am 99% sure I could change the battery many more times without breaking another contact. There is an very blue tint to the lens. That's fine with me but almost every other YouTube video and product review have said there is little to no noticeable tint. Maybe everyone is colorblind except me. It's blue and noticeable in every type of lighting situation. Like I said this is not an issue (I think it's blue to help reflect the led light, extend battery life, whatever...). It was just somewhat unexpected after doing my research. This is not a true 1x optic. It has magnification, maybe 1.25x I'm not sure. It is slight but it is definitely noticeable. It is kind of weird looking through it with both eyes open. When you move the optic across something you are already looking at, what you are looking at doesn't "line up" with what you see in the optic if that makes any sense... probably not. It's just a little weird. I do not have this problem on my Eotech. So far I could live with these last few issues. Now here's the real deal breaker... The "ghosting", "shadowing", whatever you want to call it there's a bright red glare that absolutely annoys the crap out of me. Whether I'm inside, outside, light behind me or above me it doesn't matter there's a red glare. When the dot is perfectly centered in the optic there is no glare. Even if it is right of center or low of center there is no glare. As soon as the dot begins to move up and to the left of center the glare begins. And the glare is the reflection of the upper right portion of my face, upside down. Pros: Built like a tank. This thing is rugged without a doubt. The outer body is built like an ACOG. I like the field of view (it does not get narrower when looking through it, aka "tube effect"). The dot looks pretty good (I have an astigmatism and wear contacts for it). Waterproof. Battery Life. Made in the USA. Price. Cons: ?Blue Tint? okay not really a con but unexpected. RED GLARE!!!!! Not true 1x magnification. Broke a battery contact (I literally, physically broke something after owning it for 3 minutes). I had very high hopes and expectations for this sight. I really want to like it but to be honest I don't, actually I'm pretty pissed. I just shot my buddy's $80 Sightmark the other day and it had no glare and no broken parts. I have not mounted it on my upper yet and I will test it out on the range in a couple of days. With my cheek tight on the stock and the dot centered in the optic I am not expecting to have QUITE as many glare issues as I do just holding the optic. I will update this review and post pictures of the blue tint, red glare, and broken battery contact once I have tested this optic on my upper. I know stock is very limited right now (I ordered first from opticsplanet. Then they said out of stock. I cancelled order and ordered from amazon showing in stock. Then they said out of stock. I cancelled that order and bought this optic from cheaperthandirt). If any way possible, I would recommend checking one of these optics out in person before ordering one online. Or at least make sure you can return it. Search "trijicon mro glare" and you can see some other people having similar issues. My serial # is 0027XX. This is an honest review from a prior Trijicon fan. I hope it helps. Good luck and God Bless!!! Read full review

I'm new to the AR scene but this was my first accessory I bought to go on it, and it was worth every dime. Easy to zero and mount, crisp clean dot, excellent field of view, and the dot is extremely easy to acquire.
