Based on the book by Lewis Carroll, this Disney fantasy version of Alice in Wonderland was released on DVD in June of 2010 and is the recipient of two Oscars and a plethora of other awards. Alice in Wonderland tells the story of a 19-year-old Alice (played by MIa Kingsleigh) and her journey as she goes back to the magical world of Wonderland to team up with old friends in order to end the reign of the Red Queen (played by Helena Bonham Carter) once and for all. Some of the characters that choose to befriend Alice in this fantasy in order to save Wonderland from tyranny include the Cheshire cat (voiced by Stephen Fry), the caterpillar (voiced by Alan Rickman) and the White Queen (played by Anne Hathaway), and the Mad Hatter (played by Johnny Depp).
