Atlus' paranormal RPG returns as players help a teenager deal with school during the day and battle phantoms at night in Persona 5. Gamers take on the role of a nameless protagonist, who spends the days dealing with schoolwork, taking on part-time jobs, engaging in leisurely activities, and forming relationships with other characters in and around modern-day Tokyo. Those bonds players build can give them attribute bonuses at night, when they join their party and head into dungeons to engage in turn-based battles with Shadows, which are the manifestations of adults' dark desires.
