Mezcal Sangre de Vida is produced according to an old production method, transmitted from generation to generation. The agave hearts (Piñas) are harvested by hand, cut into pieces and cooked slowly in a large pit in the ground. After the cooking process is the juice from the agave pieces using the so-called "Tahoma-Rades" extracted and stored in wooden casks, where it ferments slowly of course.
